Style spotlight: Edwardian & Georgian

Due to its square or rectangular plan, the Georgian conservatory design offers excellent use of its floor space. Energy-efficient features such as Pilkington Activ Blue roof-glazing help make an Admiral conservatory a home extension that you can use throughout the seasons.  For even better insulation, we could install a solid panelled Ultraframe Live In roof or an Equinox tiled roof.

The Edwardian differs from the Georgian style of conservatory only in that it features a roof that slopes on all sides, making this design suitable for locations where low eaves heights are a constraint.

We have installed many of these conservatories over the years. Our Chilton showsite example features dwarf walls rendered in chalk white, Duraflex uPVC window frames and open-out French doors on its front facet.
